One of the things I love most about living and working in Roswell is the incredible spirit of generosity that exists throughout our community. North Atlanta is filled with organizations that work every day to make life better for local families, and October offers two wonderful opportunities to support their missions while enjoying great community events.
Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the area, these events are a meaningful way to connect with your neighbors and make a positive impact.
If you enjoy friendly competition and supporting a great cause, The Drake House Cornhole Tournament is an event you won't want to miss.
The Drake House serves women and children experiencing homelessness by providing housing, education, career development, and support services that help families regain stability and build brighter futures.
Every participant, sponsor, and volunteer helps further their mission of empowering families to become self-sufficient.
Whether you're competing or simply cheering others on, you'll be supporting an organization that has transformed countless lives throughout North Metro Atlanta.
Another wonderful event this October is Children's Development Academy's annual Party on Our Playground.
Children's Development Academy provides high-quality early childhood education and comprehensive family support for children who may not otherwise have access to these opportunities.
This special evening brings together community members, local businesses, and supporters to celebrate the organization's mission while raising funds that directly benefit local children and families.
It's a fun night with an even greater purpose.
As a real estate advisor serving Roswell and North Atlanta, I've always believed that finding the right home is only part of the story.
The people, nonprofits, schools, parks, churches, and local events are what truly create a thriving community.
Organizations like The Drake House and Children's Development Academy strengthen our neighborhoods by investing in families, children, and the future of our community. Supporting these organizations is one of the many ways we can all help make North Atlanta an even better place to live.
Throughout the year, I enjoy sharing local events, charitable opportunities, festivals, and community gatherings happening throughout Roswell and North Atlanta.

One of the greatest advantages of living in Roswell isn't just the beautiful homes or excellent schools—it's the people and organizations that make this community so special.
