From tech to the film industry to business to culture, with so much going on in Atlanta, it can be easy to forget that the city is also the capital of Georgia. But a new WalletHub study puts Atlanta on the map for that very reason.

Looking at 48 key indicators, the personal-finance site ranked Atlanta the fifth-best state capital to live in. Factors considered were divided among four key groups: affordability, economic well-being, quality of education and health and quality of life.

The top three capitals to live in were also major college towns: Austin, Texas; Madison, Wisconsin; and Raleigh, N.C., respectively, while the bottom three were Jackson, Mississippi; Augusta, Maine; and Trenton, N.J.

Atlanta scored highest on quality of life at No. 6, followed by economic well-being at 8, quality of health and education at 11 and affordability at 25.

The top 10 capitals to live in are:

1. Austin, Texas

2. Madison, Wisconsin
