Woodstock started out as an agricultural town. The city began to grow with the Southern Railroad boom along Main Street and some of the historic homes that were built during this time still remain. There is now a vibrant city center in downtown Woodstock with thriving retail businesses and restaurants and an outdoor amphitheater featuring events and concerts. Many lovely swim tennis neighborhoods are located in Woodstock and its affordable housing makes it a great place to call home!
