My Breast Life

The color pink just gained a whole different look for me today.

At the end of October, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a follow up appointment today with the surgeon and in the breast cancer world, it’s was really good news. I caught it very early through diagnostic mammogram and it is not an aggressive form of cancer. I will have some decisions to make for surgery in the future, but I am positive through it all.

I read in my Bible today MARK 5:11- 20 where Jesus tells a healed man to go and tell everyone his story and so I felt like it was a message for me as well. I am going to blog about my breast cancer journey on my website so anyone who is interested can follow along as I delve deep into research and natural approaches and studies that have been done outside of the conventional standard of care. It’s in my DNA to explore the unknown and I am ready to get started in that journey.

I also invite you to share your own research or story so that this can be compilation of hope for others. And through it all, I will turn my face to the One who ultimately gives me whatever time I have on this earth and the peace that accompanies each waking day.
